The Purpose Behind Bell Educational Consulting and Mentoring Services
Throughout my career in education, I have seen how much changes when a student feels understood and a family has someone who listens, explains, and helps them identify a path forward.
That belief is why I founded Bell Educational Consulting and Mentoring Services, LLC.
My purpose is to help students and families feel heard, understand their options, and move forward with confidence in education and life. I bring my experience in school psychology and educational leadership to that work, guided by compassion, integrity, and respect for each person’s circumstances.
Through educational consultation, review of educational records, IEPs and Section 504 plans, and mentoring, I help families turn complex information into practical next steps. I also support young people as they recognize their strengths, develop self-advocacy, and build greater independence.
I am especially mindful of families whose needs have been overlooked or whose access to guidance is limited. As the business grows, expanding access to meaningful support will remain central to its direction.
My commitment is personal: to listen carefully, explain clearly, and provide guidance people can use.
I want each person who works with me to leave with greater understanding, a clearer next step, and more confidence in their ability to take it.

My Philosophy
I believe every student has strengths, every family deserves to be heard, and every educational decision should be guided by compassion, collaboration, objective information, and evidence informed practice. Students should not be defined solely by a diagnosis, disability, test score, or area of difficulty. Effective educational planning begins by understanding the whole student, identifying barriers to success, and recognizing the strengths that can support meaningful growth.
Families, educators, students, and multidisciplinary professionals should have access to the information they need to participate meaningfully in educational decisions. My role is not simply to provide answers or tell families what to do. It is to listen carefully, explain complex evaluations and educational information in understandable language, help families ask informed questions, and develop practical next steps that place the student’s needs and best interests first.
More than two decades of experience in school psychology, special education leadership, educational consultation, multidisciplinary decision making, and student support have taught me that lasting progress is built through respectful partnership. I am committed to helping families and schools move beyond labels and uncertainty toward greater understanding, stronger collaboration, informed decision making, increased independence, and long term student success.
